ReUnionRide

ReUnionRide was a ski and snowboard meetup planned for experienced riders to reconnect with old friends and make new ones in the Bulgarian mountain resort of Bansko.

To generate excitement for the event, we needed to spread the word quickly and attract potential participants. We created a memorable logo with two overlapping “R”s to symbolize looking back and coming together. We also built a website with voting features and two impactful videos that were highly effective on social media.

ReUnionRide was another project produced by Deepblue with help from WaFL, including the design and development of a website to coordinating suppliers and sponsors.

Building the concept

Since ReUnionRide was based on the idea of community, we recommended Deepblue create a user-friendly website with a voting feature that allowed people to choose the event location (initially, we offered three options).

The website worked on all devices, and the voting system was a great way to involve everyone and reflect the inclusive spirit of the event.

The biggest challenge with ReUnionRide was getting the word out to attract sponsors, suppliers, and Bansko ski resort. Consequently, WaFL suggested using our tried-and-true method of video promotion, which would be shared on social media to generate excitement for the event.

LOGO DESIGN

The core idea behind ReUnionRide was for experienced skiers and snowboarders to reconnect on the slopes. Therefore, it made sense to use the prominent “R”s in the logo, with one seeming to look back.

This simple yet eye-catching logo effectively communicated the main goals of the event while remaining visually appealing.

REUNION PROMO VIDEO

With the help and guidance of WaFL, Deepblue created a high-quality video to introduce ReUnionRide and attract skiers and snowboarders to the upcoming event.

The video was widely shared on social media, building anticipation and excitement for the event.

REUNION VS2.0 VIDEO

To generate more excitement for ReUnionRide, we created a second video featuring Bansko, the preferred destination for most riders.

This video also proved very successful on social media, helping to promote the event and attract more participants.
