iRide Website

The iRide website is intended to offer information on a wide range of topics – everything from business to travel and lifestyle articles. The aim of the site is to become a go-to repository for information.

iRide already features a diverse range of subjects – everything from summer and winter travel guides to advice for business, technology articles, lifestyle, sport and politics.

As we’ve continued to add to the site, it’s ranking has increased exponentially in search engines including Google.

Building the concept

Initially, iRide was intended to be an additional marketing channel for the iRide app – hence the name and use of the full iR logo. However, we soon recognised that diversifying its content would grow its SERP ranking, thereby increasing the iRide app’s exposure

Also, with more content, we were able to form affiliations with global services like booking.com, TrueTraveller, SNCF and Jetradar plus suppliers. This had the knock-on effect of increasing the direct revenue from the site.

LOGO DESIGN

The iRide website started mainly to compliment the iRide app but has since morphed into an entirely separate entity. Nonetheless, the site features a huge amount of ski and snowboard articles and videos so we decided to keep the branding the same as the iRide app.

Moreover, taking this approach has massively increased our search engine ranking as the site is being found under far more generic terms rather than just skiing and snowboarding. This was always the aim of diversifying the site content (the same way that adding a blog to a website will also increase its traffic).
